Legislation on protection of personal data
Legislation on Protection of Personal Data consists of: Constitution of Ukraine, Law of Ukraine On Protection of Personal Data dd. 01.06.2010, came into force on 01.01.2011 (hereinafter – «Law»), other laws and sublegislative normative and legal acts, international contracts of Ukraine, consent for its obligatory nature is presented by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in particular Convention on Persons’ Protection due to Automated Processing of Data and additional minutes to it (ratified on 06.07.2010, date of coming into force in Ukraine on 01.01.2011).

Processing of personal data – activities or aggregate of activities performed in full or in part in informational (automated) system and/or in card index of personal data, which are related with collection, registration, accumulation, saving, adoption, change, update, use and spreading (distribution, sale, transfer), depersonalization, destruction of information about private individuals.
Personal data – information or aggregate of information about private individual, which is identified or can be specifically identified.
Subject of personal data – private individual, as to which in accordance to the law, processing of its personal data is performed.
